| 1178064 | 2011-02-14 04:05:00 | Wanna upgrade my poor old half dead system... (It used to be so flash in 2005, now it's a RAM killer) Needed: CPU + Motherboard + RAM I'm thinking somewhere around 500$. I will upgrade my graphics card later on (currently NVIDIA 7400GS). What does PF1 recommended? 500 Internet Cool Points for the winning suggestion. :D |

| 1178068 | 2011-02-14 07:03:00 | You probably won't find any motherboard with P67 or H67 by now. The chipset's defective and all mb's are being recalled. I'll suggest an AMD platform: Phenom II X4 955 ($215.43) Gigabyte GA-890GPA-UD3H ($244.31) A-Data DDR3 PC10600/1333MHz CL9 2GB *2 ($84.52) Total: 544.26 Oh and yeah you'll need a CPU cooler with that too. If the ends can't meet the motherboard can be cut back further. |

| 1178071 | 2011-02-14 08:13:00 | Make that DEFINITELY will need a new PSU! And don't forget win7 and a new HDD!! |

| 1178073 | 2011-02-14 09:38:00 | You could get a dual core 2.93 for $270 (mobo and E6500 CPU - 2.93 ghz). It uses DDR3 ram. But only goes to 4 GB (4 slots / 1 GB in each) | Speedy Gonzales (78) | ||
