1138130 2010-09-18 20:32:00 Unless UAC is stuffing it up. Kill it. It can cause probs Speedy Gonzales (78)
1138131 2010-09-18 20:32:00 Fine here on the latest FF, safari and preview plod (107)
1138132 2010-09-18 21:08:00 Still can't get it to work.

On Firefox, Foxit extension reports the corrupted message.

On Chrome, which uses Adobe PDF extension, I couldn't load it.

After downloading the file via "Right-click... Download as" on Firefox and Chrome on different occasions, I tried opening it using Foxit and Adobe Reader, but both reported the file is corrupted.

1138133 2010-09-18 21:10:00 Sounds like something on your system is corrupting files. Nvidia firewall "didnt" get installed by accident did it. Because this is what that can / will do (corrupt files). If its installed, uninstall it Speedy Gonzales (78)
1138134 2010-09-18 21:12:00 No Nvidia Firewall.

I tried downloading the file using Firefox on a virtual machine installed on the same laptop, but I still can't open it in the host OS.

1138135 2010-09-18 21:16:00 Interesting, Foxit reports it to be corrupted as well when being attemped to be opened in the virtual machine. Renmoo (66)
1138136 2010-09-18 21:19:00 Unless the foxit extension is stuffed. Disable it then try and save it. Then open it with foxit. I wouldnt use Adobe reader. Its full of bugs and holes. Post a HJT log. We'll see whats in it Speedy Gonzales (78)
1138137 2010-09-18 21:49:00 Have you tried a different pdf? what about other file types? plod (107)
