| 1178490 | 2011-02-15 08:03:00 | Flash Drive size decreased(wrong title was meant to make it this one too late now) I have a problem recently I tried to make a bootable flash drive to try and install ChromiumOS onto my Laptop I folowed the instructions of this link:chromeos.hexxeh.net or http://chromeos.hexxeh.net/ for the Home page. I got to the part where is said to Use Windows Image Writer 0.1 to burn the .img to the flash drive. I forgot that I had only around 250MB of space left and went on to use the untrustable software that had no problems. Next I tried opening my flash drive to see if the files were successfully installed. But when i clicked on it it said to format the drive before using it. :horrified i was horrified and after a day or two i decided that there was no other things to do than formatting. After Formatting I was greatly disturbed that the flash drive had shrunken to 250MB!!! Please help me! I will add an image soon |

| 1178491 | 2011-02-15 08:17:00 | perhaps the drive has been partitioned silently. plug it in and check for any problems or changes under the disk management utility. It could be that its either a partition without a drive letter, a hidden partition, or just unpartitioned space. |
