| 1180085 | 2011-02-20 23:00:00 | Hi all, I have a client who just about has everything in his new house. He showed me his man cave decked out in leather suite, leather desk and cellar blah blah. Anyway, he has a nice bi 40" LCD TV above the fireplace, and I suggested he move his deck to face the TV and we can use that for a PC Monitor as he is considering a PC down there. I was thinking wireless mouse and keyboard to sit on nice leather deck, but am concerned with distance.... We are probably looking at around 4-5m from deck to TV screen and not sure where to put the PC, maybe a little Dell Zino box or something to the right of the fireplace, obviously we would want to hide wires.... So, question is, can we do wireless input from like 5m?, or will we need to contemplate PC under the desk and wireless video feed to the TV? |

This from an Amazon review for the MK250 Wireless reach: The wifi reach of this keyboard is amazing. And this is the precise reason why I bought it. I can type in from my dining room and still see the characters on a notepad on my laptop which is in the living room. That is: the wifi worked through 2 walls. This is amazing stuff for a budget wifi keyboard. I then tested on my other laptop (Win 7), which is more or less used like a desktop. Works perfectly fine as well. Zero lag and precise mouse movement. 10 metre is the range mentioned in the product literature. |

| 1180088 | 2011-02-20 23:12:00 | I've got loads of logitech gear at home and I've never had any problems with SetPoint...? | wratterus (105) | ||
| 1180089 | 2011-02-20 23:15:00 | For most people the tabs for the mouse and kb dont appear (inc myself). So, you cant configure either of them. Look on their forum, you'll see what I mean. I told them it was crap / it didnt work. They removed setpoint from the download for this kb lol | Speedy Gonzales (78) | ||

Thats what I did with this USB tuner. Connected it to a cord, so I can use the remote (wihout having to sit at the desk to use it) | Speedy Gonzales (78) | ||
| 1180092 | 2011-02-21 00:29:00 | I have had my problems with setpoint but the latest version seems to run well. I am using a G9 mouse, g510 keyboard and a Clearchat PC wireless headset. |

| 1180094 | 2011-02-21 02:24:00 | So whats better guys, bluetooth 2.0 or wireless....I didnt think they could do 10m to be honest! | SolMiester (139) | ||
