1179181 2011-02-17 04:39:00 I have a macbook that came with 10.4.X which is a intel and ppc (universal binary) OS. I also purchased MS Office 04 with it. Which is a PPC Binary only. But because 10.4.X was a PPC native OS it could run fine. Now I have upgraded to 10.6.6 which is a Intel only OS. 10.6.6 has very little/no PPC support. This causes MS Office to get very angry at my mac and crash or have a slow reasponse time to typed text, or any in program function. Is there a way to fix/improve this issue?

BTW buying office 11 does not count as a fix :p

Yeah, I'd stay with OOo for the mean time, while LO stabilizes a bit, they only forked a few months ago around the time Oracle killed OpenSolaris.

It's a fork and Libre Office will be the one to use as the improvements will be more rapid and more relevant.
They have come out with their first upgrade and it is stable.
