2010-09-23 18:25:00 | I can't find any here in the States, and wonder if this is available over-the-counter in Upsidedown Land . It's common name is: Petty Spurge, Radium Weed or Cancer Weed . It is considered an invasive weed in Australia, New Zealand and the US, although it is very rare here . I'm looking for a tincture or extract of that plant if it's available without a prescription .

2010-09-23 22:24:00 | Got plenty growing as a weed in my garden... I don't think it would be sold over the counter since it is a weed, or did you mean the tincture/extract being sold?

2010-09-23 22:29:00 | I don't think I can import the weed - so it would have to be a concoction made of it somehow. The sap is supposed to be very poisonous, so it may be a controlled substance in your place. It's the sap I need. I have just been diagnosed with a cancer in my nose. Gads! My VA doctor said it was a good thing to try - even though he's a medical specialist he says he's seen some very good results with it. Thanks in advance if you find any info on it.

2010-09-24 01:00:00 | The sap of many Euphorbias is toxic. Perhaps another species more readily available might do the job. Problem is getting someone to test it... | user (1404) | |
2010-09-24 21:59:00 | SJ .... Sorry, but it doesn't seem to be available in NZ as a tincture or extract ... but don't worry ... got my feelers out in Australia for you. My niece does yoga and shiatsu massage and has friends who are into herbal remedies, witchcraft, and the like. I'll get back to you next week and let you know if she had any luck.

2010-09-26 01:42:00 | SJ ... a link sent to me by my niece in Oz blogs.abc.net.au She's got a friend who's really into the herbal meds, however, they're away for the weekend. The photo in the link is better than the others I've seen and we have ship-loads of it growing in close proximity .... I'd squeeze the juice out of some and send it over, but would hate to see you nose-less !!

There are some relatives to the plant here but I am hesitant to use any of them unless I KNOW fer sure - ya know? I know that international agricultural treaties frown upon sending plant life through the mail - so your idea may not be an option . I'm in weekend-routing here too - so I can very well wait . |
