1138378 2010-09-27 09:39:00 It wouldn't bother me, but khandallah is one of the wealthiest suburbs in the country, with some of the snobbiest people in the country .

I went out to Lyall Bay this evening for some photography . Spent childhood in Miramar until they relocated to Churton Park . Those places so so nice, wide roads, kids and family around, walking, surfing . . . Then there are places that want minimal shops, no malls, they already have no waterfront, no real park, so they just come home and isolate themselves in their asset and Kandallah in particular oversees the city and waterfront but wouldn't dare to go in it . . . like if their house is their balcony .

People the good places, actually go out and do something they like . Walk, surf, with the dogs etc .

Well I am not interested in playing the cards with work colleagues . . .

Besides, why pass up 100m/bit now, opting instead to wait another decade? Seems silly to me.

Strait swapping Telstra for Telecom ownership is not a option.

Then we would have "Telstra" coming up with the joke that is "wholesale" to other providers, esp as Telstra pulls the same tricks in Aus as Telecom here.

1138380 2010-09-27 22:20:00 So you'd rather stick with ADSL instead of 100m/bit, just on principal?

I wouldn't :D

1138381 2010-09-27 22:23:00 me thinks while there is govt intervention into telecom and while there is telstra that just adds to the competition .

it's not like telstra can jack up or crap it up all they like even thou govt-telecom is there .
