1179861 2011-02-20 00:53:00 I beleive the address book for Win live is not held on your local PC but is out there on a server somewhere. Snorkbox (15764)
1179862 2011-02-20 00:56:00 It is web-based mail (like hotmail, gmail etc), very little is held on your computer. feersumendjinn (64)
1179863 2011-02-20 02:34:00 If you have live mail installed on the Computer, its under Contacts within the mail.
Not the same as the old address book file in previous versions.

If you are wanting to export/Import them, open live mail, Contacts (bottom Left) Select the contacts, then Export

To quote myself:

If you are wanting to export/Import them, open live mail, Contacts (bottom Left) Select the contacts, then Export. Export = Backup.

Simple steps --as per instructions above Step one click contacts - select all contacts (www.imagef1.net.nz) then Step two export (www.imagef1.net.nz)- a box will open, hit browse, navigate to where you want them saved, call it something, then follow on screen instructions.

Exporting the mail - very similar Open live Mail: File/ Export mail/ Email messages The path (www.imagef1.net.nz) - follow on screen instructions.
