| 1179390 | 2011-02-18 00:10:00 | I have just received a new modem from Vodafone (Make unknown). I've connected it to my Linksys WRT610N router and have a couple of questions. 1. Does DHCP have to be enabled on both boxes or just on the modem? If I use DHCP in the router I get this Attached file: Router.jpg (www.imagef1.net.nz) (121 KB) But if I disable DHCP on the router it asks me to manually enter an internet IP address, subnet mask & default gateway, here Attached file: Router_2.jpg (www.imagef1.net.nz) (133 KB) What should these settings be in relation to the modem settings? Here, Attached file: Modem1297987263.jpg (www.imagef1.net.nz) (140 KB) |
