| 1181122 | 2011-02-24 01:53:00 | I have a Hills HSM075 Freeview receiver, a satellite tuner! This is connected to a Samsung LCD TV (LA22C450E1MXRD). I am hoping to record onto a HDD recorder. I find that there is a lot of conflicting info around on this topic and my tiny mind is a little confused. Many of the posts state that you can''t record from Freeview (satellite) to a HDD recorder, yet the Hills support says that the SCART output connection (marked VCR) can be connected to a HDD recorder instead of a VHS recorder. Is it possible to use the common DVD HDD Recorder type units to record (from satellite) and play back to the TV? |
