1140477 2010-09-29 05:48:00 I've had Firefox for almost a year now, and love it. However, my best friend (and even my teacher) suggest I go for Chrome, but out of sheer arrogance I want a few extra opinions.
So, Firefox or Chrome?

And don't even suggest Opera. (Even though it's in the poll...)

1140478 2010-09-29 05:52:00 I would use chrome, but it installs too much crap. And sends too much info back to Google.

I saw software iron the other day (its like chrome - I think it uses chrome's code), but they've removed / killed most of the crap Google put in it, to send whatever back to Google. Some reviews say this is better, because of this

And that is why I will NEVER use chrome. I don't care if they did change the license, google is evil.

FF makes me feel nostalgic and all, but I have been using Opera for about a decade now, that won't change.

1140483 2010-09-29 06:12:00 I voted IE Version 9 BTW but if I wanted an alternative I would have said FF. IE is what I use by choice but I also run FF Beta (Minefield). Tried Chrome but I don't have it installed right now. Snorkbox (15764)
1140484 2010-09-29 06:50:00 I like Safari (not mentioned) on the Mac, and Firefox on the Win Machine.
