1140456 2010-09-29 02:07:00 I hadda go to Palm Springs today - and I let my stepson take a 'few' pixs .

Like --- over 270 pixs!

If you've never seen Palm Springs or the Pines-To-Palms Highway, then here's a chance .

I put these in a Picasa web-album that you can see the thumbs and if you want to or are intrigued, you can click on the thumb and see the whole pix .

I just thought youse guys might like to see the seedier side of Southern Palm Springs and some of the mountain roads to get there .

1140458 2010-09-29 03:07:00 Just remember that Palm Springs is about the closest major shopping are to where I live.

I can go to Temecula or Hemet, but PS is closer by miles.

1140461 2010-09-29 05:21:00 The hills are full of protected species - like the Bighorn Sheep - who are mating until the end of this month and tours through the Anza-Borrego Desert can resume.

Jack Rabbits are rife in the area - but they are not good eating as they carry Spotted Fever which crosses to humans very well.

If anyone bags the Yetti - they can name their own price I think. He's been spotted they say.

Why he has spots, I'll never know.

1140465 2010-09-29 08:00:00 You got a mighty fine had there, SJ.

David on the other hand... You should buy him a decent hat. Or at least, tell him to remove his.
