Mind you that was after installing the full SP1, not through windows updates, so if its done Via Updates, there may be no option to recover space since the Update is only installing whats not already there. |

| 1180781 | 2011-02-26 03:14:00 | Depends if the server is pointing at an upstream server or direct at Microsoft update. And I think it has to also be approved on your server to go to clients. |

Yes, it points at Microsoft Update, and yes, I have it set to approve all updates by default. SP1 just hasn't showed up in the list in the WSUS console yet. |

| 1180784 | 2011-02-26 09:13:00 | The blazing fast masterton internet started pulling the 64x 900mb . exe over at around 56kb/s Then I decided that I should probably wiat till monday . despite not actually being charged for internet use, after the accredited SINA "balance" runs out we have to go down to the IT department and have it "topped up" Its just an inconveniance especially if you find out that it runs out 4:15 in friday!!! Not looking forward to spending an appealing wet sunday afternoon with no internet (censored to hell as it is since my mates VPN borked) . Being sick is no fun |

I did my netbook through WU it was easier than copying to flash drive etc, I ran the cleanup tool after and recovered about the same space you did so it does work |
