1180793 2011-02-22 22:21:00 What version of windows? Does it show the name of a file or driver? WHEN does it happen? Get bluescreenview. See what it says (what files are highlighted, after you load the dmp file)?

Does this apply? (support.microsoft.com)

WHEN does it happen?
had just booted the computer & was rechecking setting but hadn't changed any


I just rebooted the computer & got a Windows error window:
error signature f4 , BC
then it blue screened & I couldn't read it before it crashed
