| 1181682 | 2011-02-27 00:17:00 | W7 indicates one can use a second screen or other words not the laptop screen. Tick box, tick apply and it works fine. Second screen is a larger Dell lcd Switch off computer, switch on later and it has reverted back to Laptop screen. Had no problems doing this with old Toshiba and XP and it held OK. Any ideas why this is so?:help: Sony i7 with 6gb |

| 1181685 | 2011-02-27 23:12:00 | Are you cloning? one screen to the other?...I have several W7 lappys here that we have setup so that when the screen is open, the lappy res displays and aspect ratio blows the smaller res up for the ext lcd, when the laptop screen closes, the ext lcd res is used..... I dont have NV chipsets so cant tell you what the settings are sorry! |
