(www.csmonitor.com) While Al Qaeda has not targeted Japanese nationals, the rare travel alert is a sign of how seriously Japan and other governments are taking the Europe terror threat. The reported threat is somewhat like the Mumbai Massacre a while back in scope. US, Japan Caution Travelers; Britain Hikes Terror Alert (www.voanews.com) Western intelligence officials said last week they had uncovered a plot by al-Qaida-linked militants based in Pakistan for terror attacks in major British, French and German cities. Officials say the plot is believed to involve multiple attacks on public places - similar to those carried out in Mumbai, India in 2008, when near-simultaneous attacks by Islamic militants killed or wounded nearly 500 people. |

'Some people' excludes present company, of course. Actually - the SUVs are safe - it's prying the tiny little crumbled balls of foil out of the suspension from the Euro boxes that run under the SUVs that cause a lot of troubles. |
