1181878 2011-03-01 01:43:00 We are actually looking at the www.sony.co.nz (1600*900) as the one we are looking at testing www.sony.co.nz is discontinued....

We have looked at the R700, however the display is allegedly awful and the keyboard isnt good either....All this came from looking at the MacAir, however just too expensive for what you get!,

1181879 2011-03-01 02:04:00 I have a macbook air, and it is nicer than the R700, but its the closest thing ive seen. The screen I find quite nice, 720 is enough for a 13 I reckon. The keyboard on the other hand yes I'd go with that not being so nice. Alex B (15479)

I think my boss brought one of them from singapore when she was passing through. Lightest laptop i have ever lifted. Couldnt believe it had two ssds in raid, that was a first too. and a docking station

EDIT: earlier model core2duo, 6Gb ddr3, Nvidia 9300M

1181881 2011-03-01 02:43:00 I seriously cant believe they have 4 SSD's in RAID 0, WTF needs that in a laptop....its seriously OTT, when you consider most of the O/S is already going to be in the 8Gb of RAM!, and why FullHD on 13", it must be IPS panel in order to read it!..edit, just saw its LED backlit..wow!

I told the boss, if we get it, we can use it as an ESX host should one of the servers fail...LMAO!
