1181810 2011-03-05 00:15:00 Done it with ImgBurn, but when I start slipstreaming the RT Seven Lite says it's not bootable and stops?

1181811 2011-03-05 00:32:00 Try making the Image from the CD with ISO Recorder (isorecorder.alexfeinman.com) - once installed, with the DVD in the drive simply go to your DVD drive right click it, " Create image From CD".

I have have very limited success using Imageburn - it often fails, with that unbootable error.

1181812 2011-03-05 01:03:00 Thx Wanuitech, did that and it worked. With selecting my Win 7 OS I did not get the " ........ also enable the option named Slipstream Service Pack before clicking the OK button" so I could not go on with the slipstreaming. I must add that I'm trying to slipstream a new Win 7 HE disk, not the OEM on my lappie

1181813 2011-03-05 20:57:00 Where should the update be - in the same folder as the Win 7 ISO?

1181814 2011-03-05 21:19:00 The update can be in any folder you like. Snorkbox (15764)
1181815 2011-03-05 21:20:00 Shouldn't matter where the update is, you navigate to it and select it. As per Step 4 (www.intowindows.com) in that article.

Once you have downloaded the SP, then if you want to keep things tidy, then put it in the same place as the ISO - Working folder.

1181817 2011-03-06 00:42:00 You doing it in windows, not in a VM? Speedy Gonzales (78)
1181818 2011-03-06 05:04:00 Just a bit of a result -- RT Seven was a total failure.

Thought I'd give it a go, but it wouldn't pick up the SP1, even though under intergeneration / Applications it was shown. It went through the process of creating a ISO, exactly same size as the original - which then turned out to be totally corrupted - made a good coaster out of the DVD though :D

There is another program that I have been meaning to try for a while now - so once I have tried it (its installing as I type) I'll post back the results.

1181819 2011-03-06 05:45:00 Interesting. I gave RT7 a go this afternoon and it went through perfectly.
At the final stages I opted first to create an ISO image, and then selected the burn option to make a DVD.

This was using the 32 bit windows6.1-KB976932-X86.exe SP1 file, and 32 bit Windows Home Premium OEM disk.
