1183357	2011-03-04 02:33:00	My wife has a toshiba sattelite 650 with 4/gb ram running the 32 bit vertion of win 7. she would like to upgrade to the 64 bit vertion of win7 supplied on the recovery disc that she has. How can this be done ? TIA	jupiter1 (2578)

1183366	2011-03-04 03:14:00	Yep. You'd have to backup anything you want to keep and then do a full reinstall. With the 32bit vs 64 bit situation, I've seen a heap of these C650s with 4GB of RAM that DSE had set up in 32bit, re-doing them in 64bit made a noticeable difference to speed, especially when running intensive apps. In saying that though, it will still run nicely in 32bit, it's just a shame to waste that lovely RAM. With Tosh notebooks, holding down the 0 key (above P, not on the number pad) on POST will cause it to boot into the recovery partition.	wratterus (105)
