2011-03-04 01:08:00 | Thought I'd use it for the first time...been nearly an hour waiting for an 'operator', mind you the queue has dropped from 2 people to one person. And we thought TC was bad for service! :) Come on Telecom, you can do it, or will I have to give up?

2011-03-04 01:50:00 | Give up and call them. They answer the phone pretty quickly these days. I've tried the live chat a few times, just to see if it actually works. Never had anyone answer.

2011-03-04 01:59:00 | quite a few of their contact centre staff were based in chch so i'd hazard a guess that that's had some sort of impact on it. to be fair tho they should really disable it if they can't deliver the service.

2011-03-04 02:30:00 | It will be quicker to just pickup the phone, call them, swear into the phone and talk to a person. | nedkelly (9059) | |
2011-03-04 02:33:00 | Same here, I never knew they had any helpdesk staff in Chch at all? not 100% sure which teams are down their but they definitely have (had) some provisioning teams in chch. edit: I also know that qualified Telecom customer service representitives from around the rest of NZ have been pulled in to cover for contact centre staff unable to work in chch.
