1143522 2010-10-11 18:05:00 Outside England 's Bristol Zoo there is a parking lot for 150 cars and 8 buses . For 25 years,it's parking fees were managed by a very pleasant attendant . The fees were for cars (£1 . 40),for buses (about £7) .
Then, one day, after 25 solid years of never missing a day of work, he just didn't show up; so the Zoo Management called the City Council and asked it to send them another parking agent .

The Council did some research and replied that the parking lot was the Zoo's own responsibility .

The Zoo advised the Council that the attendant was a City employee .

The City Council responded that the lot attendant had never been on the City payroll .

Meanwhile, sitting in his villa somewhere on the coast of Spain or France or Italy . . . is a man who'd apparently had a ticket machine installed completely on his own and then had simply begun to show up every day, commencing to collect and keep the parking fees, estimated at about £560 per day -- for 25 years .

Assuming 7 days a week, this amounts to just over 7 million pounds . . . and no one even knows his name .

Great idea, but sorry, they've all gone. And a Mr Wilson squats in sumptuous surroundings in a megabuck private yacht moored somewhere in Key West. At least he did about a decade or so ago, and those who claim to have been aboard both say it rivaled Britannia.

And didn't the Bristol affair actually happen?

1143526 2010-10-11 23:23:00 Get a grip you guys, this is not public radio or TV, no references have been made to any living person, and I'm not paid an obscene salary to provide entertainment to the steaming masses . The jokes I use do not reflect my personal opinions or such prejudices as I may have, I stay away from the tasteless, and at worst it is black humour OK?

Henry is gone, it's over, he blew it, so get over it and move on . Now park your prejudices under the bed and let Monday Laughs continue in peace .

Billy :annoyed:

OMG Billy, you now dare to defend your hypocrisy?! . . . YOU cant say the jokes YOU publish in an OPEN FORUM are not your opinion, you posted them . . . . It matters not that you don't get paid and its obscene that you do it for FREE .

Sorry buddy, but you just lost my respect for being a two faced hypocrite trying to defend yourself because you do it for nowt!

He is refering to the content of the jokes, in which they do not reflect his personal opinion.

I think you have confused it with his selection of jokes that are posted on this forum.

1143528 2010-10-11 23:59:00 A man calling another a hypocrite is a hypocrite himself.

Much like a man calling another a racist when in some ways everyone's a racist.

1143529 2010-10-12 02:04:00 The most frustrating thing about getting older is that every time you see an expensive antique, you remember one just like it that you once threw away...

No man hours before his time, except if the boss leaves early...

No matter where you park your car, the sun if sure to be shining on the drivers seat when you get back...

Shall I correct your English?....or do you just require reading comprehension?

Whether or not the contents of any jokes Billy posts are his own, they like Paul Henry comments were published by them.
For Billy to rubbish Paul when he is doing exactly the same thing is hypocrisy!, as neither did Paul say it was his opinion, but rather a joke!

1143531 2010-10-12 02:13:00 Keep the Paul discussions to the other thread please .... Don't spoil the monday jokes for the rest of us enjoying them.

Thanks ;)
