| 1143199 | 2010-10-10 19:57:00 | Pity that TVNZ bowed down to threats from the local Indian community to no doubt riot and burn efficacys of Henery and Ellis in front of the TVNZ building. ('scuse me while I play with a racial stereotype) Heh, can you just imagine it? All our corner dairys closed while the owners / operators protest. Imagine the backlash in India - we might have to get Kiwis doing our call centre work again. Wouldn't that be a terrible thing! Not! I do find it interesting that the one advertiser named as having 'issues' with Henry was Progressive Enterprises, which in turn is linked at the hip with dairys and supermarkets. If these outlets were predominantly run by Asians would we have had any response from Progressive? |

| 1143200 | 2010-10-10 20:10:00 | I now understand why many people want leave NZ The tall poppy attitude and the small narrow minded points of view of the minority, always take sway over what most people think and or believe.. That Paul Henry made a few insensitive comments is really beside the point. Along with our MMP form of government, there is a very vocal and selfish few, who insist that the majority should bend to their way of thinking. If you dont, you are then branded a racist or red neck ( whatever that means) We then get the bleeding heart liberal media, creating a frenzied storm over the smallest of issues. This is way beyond the Paul Henry issue but now all the manipulation of the press, MPs and thus the general population to fall in step with what a small clique desire. Today it would be fair to say, I am not proud to be a New Zealander. That TVNZ felt so pressured into making Paul Henry resign, speaks volumes as to the coercion applied. May you live in interesting times. |

The prince of these people is Minto. |

Now that Paul Henry has gone perhaps Zippity can start frothing at the mouth over Chris Carter who should be up for trial by the news media later today. Or maybe Hone Harawira will put his foot in in it AGAIN to give him something more to rant about. |

Pita Sharples is then hypocritical enough to call for Pauls sacking, while doing nothing about cleaning out his own back yard. Terrible. Dead right Chill. For Pita Sharples, as deputy leader of the Racist Party, to call anyone a racist is the epitome of hypocrisy! Truly unbelievable. I suppose he claims dispensation for colour. |
