Where did the EQC & Govt get this money from. AK taxpayers (mainly) Perhaps SI's should stop complaining about AK & just keep giving up all there electricity to us. :wub We'll take the SI beef & lamb as well. Not the cheese. |

Come on - that's why we pay taxes (all of us), so there's money in the kitty when it's REALLY needed . I'm happy to be contributing to worthy causes, especially if they are in my own country . One thing that makes me grumpy is the rife anti-Auckland sentiment that pops up everywhere . New Zealand wouldn't be anywhere without Auckland . And Auckland wouldn't be anything without the rest of the country . Everything is interdependent, and the sooner everyone accepts that and loses the one-eyed provincial attitude, the better off everyone will be . The one-eyed attitude is most applicable and best-suited to inter-city or inter-province sporting activities . . . :D |
