A change of address section is on the registration form when you update your rego - unless you use the VTNZ et al updates that come in the mail . I can't be stuffed normally and just fill the forms out for both cars . That's honestly the easiest way to keep the authorities updated . And yeah, no place for preaching here . . . most of us have done something less than perfect behind the wheel, just some get caught and some don't . I'm of the firm belief that if everyone had to get a 1:22 on Manfeild there'd be less than half the issues on the road that there are . |

Yes I recieved the VTNZ updates that come in the mail to our "correct" address about 3 months ago, wife paid my Rego didnt think anything of it . Clearly the wheels fell off there wagon somewhere . Really I am not concerned about the 8 K over the limit $80 speeding fine, would have paid that promptly, its not the concern . |

I realise the concern is more that through no fault or malice on your behalf, you had an unpaid speeding fine go awry. Forgot to mention that amongst the rambling, lol. Here's hoping they'll actually see the situation for what it's worth. |

They say a fool and his money is soon parted! Go say to the courts what you posted above I am sure they will let you off any extra penalaties  Oh it also goes to say faster you go bigger the fine and demerit points sooner or later you will be confined to a pushbike or a wooden box . Really amazes me how stupid some people can be saying what you said only this weekend I went to two road accidents both involved head on collisions . One proved fatal for a passenger! We know the driver of one vehicle and he thought that the speedlimit was a joke as well . Thats why one person is dead! Driving fast should be kept to the race track not to public roads where a painted line is all that protects you from a vehicle heading towards you . But you know this already and choose to ignore it because you are better than anyone else . |

No one is stopping you jumping in your Toyota Corolla and driving around at 40 . One person died because they were not travelling fast enough, if one car had of been traveling a lot faster the accident would have probably been avoided, as they would have passed each other at different point on the road :) (twisted but probably correct) . Anyway back on the actual issue, seems this happens a lot . Just popped down had to fill out a WD40 and a RJ45, they will probably re-issue the ticket to the correct address minus any penalties . Did have to provide evidence I moved which I did . |

Nice bit of twisted logic . These incidents happened on the open road and yes with your logic if someone had been travelling closer to 100kph instead of being the fast and the furious then the accidents may well have not happend . You said it was $80 fine at 58kph? My understanding is that is up to 11kph over the limit the penalty is $30 for speeds between 11-15kph $80, 16-20kph $120? Then again to get a ticket issued you must have been in a school zone as well for 58kph? Bit of luck for you that speed cameras dont attract demerits . |
