1182938 2011-03-02 08:15:00 Can anyone recommend an app that lets you select various picture files and use them as shortcut icons in Windows 7? nofam (9009)

Yeah I agree, but it's for a media centre PC connected to a Bravia TV - I need icons that I can scale up for a large display .

Time to look at XBMC again I think . . . . :D

And what does quick launch have? icons .
Icons are a GUI feature, no icons, no GUI, no GUI - must be DOS .

1182942 2011-03-02 23:51:00 Open the Picture in Paint, then save as .bmp.

Then change the shortcut icon, it will be changed to what ever the picture is.
