1143782 2010-10-11 22:43:00 When you are cycling along, and come to a stop sign, do you need to stop?

I'm guessing you are. But...

What about if you are turning left?

What about the fact that it is not really easy to stop and start on a bike?

1143784 2010-10-11 22:45:00 Road laws are there for ALL road users.
It annoys me no end when cyclists flount those laws then expect all the rights of a road user and use that to ***** and moan about drivers.

Shouldn't think so. They don't stop for red lights, so why should a Stop sign worry them.

1143787 2010-10-11 23:16:00 Legally you have to.

I've been warned by a cop for riding through a stop sign before. Said next time he would ticket me.

ps, Forrest....it's hard to stop on a bike? Really?

Wtf? Why do you need a handbrake to stop? Do you pull your handbrake up in your car at a stop sign?

And did you seriously just ask how a motorbike stops......

Motorbikes have a foot pedal which operates the back brakes, and a lever on the handlebar for the front brakes.
