I wrote a letter to him when he first started off campaigning not to ever put any of his campaign stuff in my letter box ever. He wrote back saying homosexuality isnt contagious and I hadn't even mentioned the fact he was gay school teacher. Never liked the Te Atatu people for voting for him either. |

There are a couple of guys in my car club (literal couple) and they almost never bring it up because everyone knows and no one cares. It's best that way. Carter was just a big-spending girl that'd have a cry if anyone called him out. Remember when he took his partner on a whirlwind adventure overseas on the taxpayer's funds? Yeah, apparently we're all evil for hating on gay people, not righteous in hating on illegal spending. Glad the dropkick is gone. NOT the sort of gay we need around. (Would be epic if he was replaced by someone of the same preference that didn't have to rub it in everyone's faces!) |

The one I used to belong to had a couple too - they did the best BBQs! As for Mr carter, I had occasion to contact him for MP services once or twice and he always promptly got back to me, and sorted the issue. He bought me round some hand made chocs once too after an MP service. However, I did think he had a massive over reaction to the travel and perks issue, had nothing to do with what gender his partner was/is. |

He even had the temerity to threaten Phil Goff (don't like that smarmy git either) with publishing his no hole barred memoirs, if they didnt take him back, so waiting on that one....LOL |
