1143323 2010-10-10 19:27:00 And adding insult to injury, not only was the Time Lord to be metamorphosed into a woman - the Time Lady - she could have been Joanna Lumley. Or Dawn French :crying

Throw up, HERE  (www.telegraph.co.uk)

One proposed incarnation consisted of the female time traveller to be accompanied by a trumpet playing schoolgirl in "John Lennon-type spectacles" and her graffiti-spraying "yobbo" elder brother.

1143324 2010-10-11 19:46:00 Dr Who has already been Joanna lumley, look for it on youtube a BBC red nose day thingie (Doctor Who and the Curse of Fatal Death)

and come too think of it French and Saunders also did a Dr Who sketch

I can't see a problem with it, if it was well written, after all in the old series Sylvester Mccoy and Colin Baker just didn't seem to work the same way Tom Baker or Pertwee did.

As for the pitch sounding terrible well...

once producers got hold of it, it probably wouldn't be anything like the pitch

Thanks, I didn't know that. I was just being facetious.

1143327 2010-10-12 19:12:00 Given 10's reaction to his new body ("Mmm, new teeth!") - and then complaints about not being ginger, you can only IMAGINE what a female 11th Doc would have done.

"WTF IS THIS?!" *gropes at chest*

1143328 2010-10-12 20:06:00 My favourite Dr was John Pertee (sp) and Tom Baker...Never liked any of the new ones since... SolMiester (139)
1143329 2010-10-12 20:11:00 D'ooh. I can only remember 'em by the numbers aside from the latest. 4th Doc was EPIC WIN, 8th was quirky. I'm a huge David Tennant fan though, and you have to admit... Matt Smith does encompass plenty of the old Doc. PEBKAC (16009)
