1142799 2010-10-09 02:08:00 I decided that I should give it a go, I'm downloading th4e SDK now. I programmed in java ~ 7 years ago and have never touched it since, so there's going to be quite a learning curve for me, but there seems to be quite a few good tutorials out there.

Any Android developers out there? What apps are you developing?

Unless they are working on top-secret projects?

1142801 2010-10-13 08:10:00 That's what I thought. I'd expect at least a few? pine-o-cleen (2955)
1142802 2010-10-13 08:14:00 I've got a keen interest, but I'm not much of a programmer. I'll keep an eye on this thread though :D Chilling_Silence (9)
1142803 2010-10-13 08:47:00 If you're looking for something specific to do, I have yet to find a decent timesheet app...

Would like to record time against Client>Project>Activity/Task.

Billing rate held against Client and/or Project and/or Activity, with the lowest level defined taking priority for charging.

Don't need a timer, and don't need down to the exact minute - a parameter somewhere that you could set to 30, 20, 15, 10 or 5 minutes would suffice.

Reports should be able to be exported to CSV, report parameters should be Client (or All), Project (or All), Activity (or All) - "All" should be the default - and date range, with the default set to previous month, with the hours reported along with the billable $$ (if set).

Then maybe a Vehicle Logbook - recording against a date, odometer reading, litres of fuel purchased, cost of fuel purchased and the ability to calculate overall and per entry fuel mileage.

PM me if you need a more detailed Requirements Document!!! :D

That should keep you going for a bit!! :)
