1142670 2010-10-08 14:31:00 Just unveiled in both Germany and Jay Leno's personal garage, the new BMW is rather huge .

Think Marushu Lotus Elan, if you can remember one of them .

Here's the article from the LA Times, but it won't be there long as they change their webpage often .

1142671 2010-10-08 19:40:00 I used to do warrant's of fitness for vehicles, got a lot of touring bikes in, I'm always stunned by the things they put on these bikes - open air conditioning, heaters, (just like a normal car) cup holders, stereo/cd player, i guess gps on the newer ones, the list goes on.
I've never met an unhappy owner of one.

1142676 2010-10-09 05:30:00 Dont like german stuff, if was any good they should have won one of the two world wars they started. Probaly didnt because their stuff kept breaking down.
When speaking to mechanics they say Audi,VW,MB,Smart, BMW crap not even as reliable as Jap crap.

1142679 2010-10-09 07:03:00 That thing (can I call it a thing?) looks like a beast! I never really looked into the touring bike culture, it's not really possible in NZ, roads are too fickle for cruising on a bike of that size, I wouldn't want to be lugging it over the rumutakas at any rate. I guess they are more suited to america/Europe, big long roads. The Error Guy (14052)
