| 1142435 | 2010-10-07 09:17:00 | It's to be expected during peak hours when an ISP like that is oversubscribing with their unlimited plans. Xnet suffered a similar fate unfortunately. If you go to www.telecomwholesale.co.nz/maps does it say you've got ADSL2+ in your area? |

If you go to www.telecomwholesale.co.nz/maps does it say you've got ADSL2+ in your area? Funny thing is the speed is usually up around the 14.0 Mbps. Yes, I guess the drop off is due to the traffic. It's back up to 14.0 today. Yes, ADSL2 is in my area and my router is picking it up ok. LL |

| 1142439 | 2010-10-08 00:44:00 | I found that the forum on geekzone usually has someone from the company looking in on it (well xnet does), just got my profile on the DSLAM changed in less than 10 mins, bring on end of the month and FS/FS | nedkelly (9059) | ||
| 1142440 | 2010-10-08 07:35:00 | www.speedtest.net (http://www.speedtest.net) That's on Capped plan and Wired connection. On another computer, connected via wireless, it can only do about 2Mbps. Such a pity that "all you can eat broadband" is kinda slow... Maybe that's what they do to keep up demand for capped plans. |
