1185099 2011-03-11 00:32:00 Finally got around to modifying my Win 7 Ultimate (upgrade) dvd so it would install as a universal version (removing the ei.cfg file), but I did take the precaution of disconnecting my Vista drive while installing 7 (just in case!), worked perfectly.
Thank you to Wainuitech and Snorkie for the help. :)

1185101 2011-03-11 00:58:00 It did, once reconnected; I didn't have to make any changes to the EasyBCD boot file I'd already set up when doing a test install (without activating) beforehand (it picked up the new 7 install, and removed the old one, the Vista install stayed listed on the dualboot screen). feersumendjinn (64)
