1185102 2011-03-10 23:49:00 Does wanting a Display Port output mean I can't get an Nvidia card?

I would really like a GTX560 or 570 but I cant find any with a Display Port?

1185103 2011-03-10 23:55:00 Doesnt look like they have any / make them. Besides this (www.nvidia.com). But thats for business not for gaming. Unless you buy a mobo with it onboard Speedy Gonzales (78)
1185104 2011-03-10 23:56:00 Do you mean you want a VGA port rather than HDMI?

If so then use an HDMI > VGA adapter. Some cards come with them anyway.

1185105 2011-03-11 00:02:00 No, but it severely limits your choice, as nVidia's reference design prefers HDMI over DisplayPort. A few of nVididas manufacturing partners put out products with DisplayPort, though.I've seen 460s/470s from Gainward & Zotac with Displayport, not sure about Asus/Gigabyte/EVGA.

Edit: Asus' GTX570 DCUII (www.asus.co.nz) includes a DisplayPort

1185107 2011-03-11 02:30:00 Eww to VGA, I didnt know that any nvidia cards did display port, handy to know though. The cable is so similar to HDMI though that I always end up trying to shove it in the wrong socket hueybot3000 (3646)
