When I go File then print preview or page set up it seems to me to be very hit and miss as to whether I get borders only or some data etc. Has anyone got any exact info on how to do this without wasting tons of time or paper ? | 1185077 | 2011-03-10 23:56:00 | Firefox doesn't seem to scale webpages properly to fit the printed page, so I switch to IE which does. There may be an add-on to fix this, but I haven't bothered to look ;). There is often a 'Print' link somewhere on the page (esp with news items) to help simplify the page format for printing. |

| 1185081 | 2011-03-11 03:09:00 | Nope I have used it for years, you can use this extension to drastically alter and compact web pages down to only what you want to save, then either print or convert to an pdf and then print. I do this about 5 times a day. Maybe the original site has been hijacked, Google has a warning as well, here is an alternative download from Mozilla: addons.mozilla.org Don't forget you can highlight just what you want to print on the page and then choose print selected in the Firefox print Dialogue, a fairly useful method for quick saving. |
