1184895 2011-03-10 03:25:00 Installed Foxit Reader, set as the default PDF reader
But when trying to open a pdf document – Windows cannot open this file…
Right click, open with à Foxit Reader works fine, but doesn’t retain it.
Control Panel, Folder options, File types: pdf isn’t listed
Trying to create a new file extension doesn’t hold.

Any suggestions please?

1184901 2011-03-10 22:06:00 Used to use foxit, till they decided to add askbar to it. And it installed without telling you / or letting you choose to untick the option, so it wouldnt install

Sumatra is good enough for me (and others). It does, what its meant to (open PDF files). Dont know why foxit wouldnt stick

strange - it seems to tell me, and lets me choose to untick the option..

(tho you do need to click "decline" and not "accept" to carry on installing Foxit without ask addons)
