| 1144813 | 2010-10-16 01:13:00 | 1) The sunshine was a little too dull this morning when it shined through my window, what with some clouds - dang it! I can see this day is going into the long drop - FAST! 2) My basted eggs for breakfast were overcooked and the coffee was cool. The serving tray didn't have a doily under the grapefruit glass and there was a pit in the juice. 3) My socks hadn't been ironed correctly. I keep telling her to not iron all the way down to the toes as it irritates my feet. 4) SOMEHOW, my wife put my left shoe where the right shoe is supposed to be and I had to call her from the laundry room to straighten them out before I could put them on. I really had to YELL VERY HARD for her to hear me too. I gotta get her hearing checked. I think I strained my voice from yelling so hard. I need a nap. 5) After all those experiences, I found out that she hadn't washed either of my vehicles and I refuse to drive a dirty vehicle to town to meet with my friends for a few beers. The windshield glass was smudged too from her hands the last time she fell off the hood, trying to reach the top of the truck waxing it. I told her to be more careful next time. I'll let this pass. I'm fair, after all. 6) Lunch was cold The whole rest of the day went like these first fiascoes - I swear that woman makes me angry - but I'll stop here as I don't want to sound like a complainer. :devil :D:lol: Right, whens your funeral? Me, I'm fairly cheerful today, nothing disasterous has happened today yet and my contract has been renewed till December. |

| 1144818 | 2010-10-16 04:41:00 | Even worse here, it took about an hour for me to notice I was missing ONE line of code in my programming assignment last night. I was wondering why the hell I was getting null pointer exceptions from calling a method at line 168, when the error was somewhere back in line 35, where I'd forgotten to create the thing I was pointing at. And then spent another hour to make no progress on the next question. Downloaded sonic 4 today though, after waiting through my childhood and a bit longer for it to come out. Bit expensive considering the physics are a bit buggy, but then I'm still enjoying the hell out of it. |

I ask, do you want that large or small, they say yes, or medium. At which point I pull both sizes of cup off the coffee machine and show them 'these are our two sizes', they then promptly **** around umming and ahhing. Also, going through dependency hell on Maemo at the moment, for some reason it won't install required libs, and it doesn't have the option to install them separately. I'm talking basic stuff, like libgcc, libssl, etc. I mean, come on! grrr Just took a mean dump. It was fantastic, and I'm well satisfied. ... Dad? |
