1144971 2010-10-16 19:48:00 Trains would much heavier than 80 tons wouldnt they?

Freight trains, yes, but the two car trains used on the Onehunga line are "only" 80 tonnes.

1144972 2010-10-16 19:56:00 Young trains (and in spite of the weather it is Spring) may be deceptively small, but vicious.

However, to see a train at all, let alone in motion, takes most people in NZ by surprise.

I rather hoped you wouldn't lose it,but loose it you have,RIP.

1144974 2010-10-18 11:09:00 Let's face it if these guys can't pass a multi-choice safety test they are morons. What the hell is PC about not letting them near the railway line? Would you want these guys in front of a train you were on?

Funny how everything anyone disagrees with these days is PC Bollocks. The bollocks here is in the title of the thread.

Meant to read two-car trains (trains with two carriages).

But the article clearly says more or less the same result can be achieved with two signs. ;)

I was coming back and the the guy about 20 seconds later disappeared and I bashed into the carriage."
