1144540 2010-10-14 07:49:00 I'll admit, it's not the best car in my opinion, however, it is the basis of something great ('www.youtube.com) (they based the framing on the original escudo, not that it bears much resemblance now). ubergeek85 (131)

1144543 2010-10-14 08:16:00 Just service it regularly (oil/filter change at least, 10,000 Km intervals), check fluids now and then, get brakes checked occasionally, get the auto trans oil/filter changed in a year or two's time; it should serve you well. :)
Run it on 95 (or more) octane petrol, you'll get more power and better economy than using 91.

If you mean "are they good vehicles", in 33yrs of fixing vehicles I've found Suzukis to be very reliable. I approve of your choice.

1144548 2010-10-14 10:54:00 Japan’s Nobuhiro "Monster" Tajima in a Suzuki Escudo is almost as legendary as he is, producing 981 bhp at 8100 rpm and 95kg-m of torque at 6500 rpm from the twin-turbo 2.7 litre V6 won the ‘Race to the Sky’ hillclimb near Queenstown.
