Had to use it for about 5 days as part of our enforcement of stricter software policies. I almost cried when it died for the 4th time in about 30 minutes, not to mention it always takes a good 3-5 seconds just to open a blank tab. Pisses me off no end. Luckily now I've got Chrome working happily with the proxy, and permission to use it :D So I'll add to the list: 1) TelstraClear helpdesk 2) Helpdesk monkeys who think they know better. Sometimes you just need to learn when to troubleshoot and when to escalate 3) Mac afficiandos who assume everybody else worships Jobs and everything he touches, just as they do 8ftmetalhaed, hang in there. I abstained until I got married, found myself a lovely lady who was also the same, and you *can* make it through your teen years without getting on the piss or high every other weekend. Each to their own, I'm not bagging it, but just saying you should hang in there and one day you'll find Mrs Right-for-you! :) |
