1146058 2010-10-19 19:38:00 386SX-25, 2MB RAM I think it was. 14" CRT. 50MB Quantum HDD.

A mid model cos 286 were available too, so were 486. Had the 386 with Win31 and MS Works for school and even running Win95 on it until maybe 1997 until bro upgraded to a AMD 200Mhz and that was used until the mid 2000s until he got a 1.5 AMD Sempron (which now does not work anymore). Kept the chassis.

So we don't spend that much on computers really.

For study. My first laptop was 2nd hand, 486 DX3-75 for school work bought for $600 odd via the local newspapers. Also had used P1, P2, P3 and now a Core Duo (all used). Last 2 still used today. A modest 2.33 Quad is what I have now as my desktop.

1146065 2010-10-19 21:24:00 Two pieces of shaped glass mounted in a simple bronze coloured frame. Left glass slightly thicker than right. Often kept in their case on the computer desk in front of me when not in use. :stare: coldot (6847)
