1145666 2010-10-18 01:40:00 I have no doubt whatsoever that there is more going on than what we are shown via public media. Exactly what, I don't know, mainly because the facts get so mixed up with the consipracy theories.

I firmly believe however, that the twin towers collapse was not caused by planes crashing into them. A controlled demolotion seems more likely to me. But then that brings up the question of 'why?'. Thats when the conspiracy theories start...

1145667 2010-10-18 10:25:00 Well after that they went off and invaded some countries... and there is big money in that if you are a defense contractor I guess, all the mil-spec stuff is quite pricey I believe forrest44 (754)
1145668 2010-10-18 20:24:00 The twin towers conspiracy is quite conclusive but so is the counter arguments so really still 50/50 for me. If it was planned and the buildings demolished (which we will never know) then really this world is F****d. Bring on Armageddon.
And the Zeitgeist movie is quite long but a worthy watch. Quite hard to believe the Illuminati have been plotting to take over the world for about 5 thousand years.

1145669 2010-10-18 23:31:00 Sorry Moose but I won't be watching the clips. My reasoning? Anything titled "Deception, Swindle, Vandalism" et al is biased from the outset in my experience.

Plus conspiracy theories are so shallow. They breathlessly tell us that there are dark hidden groups in the world which manipulate economies and lives.....

Tell me - ever tried to keep a secret? If two people know it, its at risk. If three people know, it ain't gonna be a secret much longer. By contrast conspiracy theories require thousands of secretaries, technicians, staff, drivers, pilots, etc etcetera to be silent......and we know that just doesn't happen in the real world.

1145670 2010-10-19 00:45:00 Always choose the most reasonable explanation.

ie: terrorists flew 2 planes into the towers

or 'the govt' blew up the towers & covered it up by flying 2 planes into the towers, 1 into the ground & 1 into the Pentagon
Why not just blow it up without the planes, a huge truckbomb in the basement would make a much better cover story.

It was a missile that hit the Pentagon & the cover-up was scattering bits of planes & bodies across the ground.

Really.....

The moon landing was also faked. Now NASA are having to organise some fake landing craft on the moon as the new hi-res sats around the moon will see the 'empty' Apollo landing site's.
This is why the shuttle is being scrapped & its replacement was cancelled. They need the money to fix up the fake Moon landings.

Conspiracies are sooo easy to do.

1145671 2010-10-19 00:51:00 Ah zeitgeist. It's a good comedy, but when they said 'the sun's daily highest point stays the same for three days' they revealed it has no basis in truth. It's a sinusoidal curve, it's not complicated stuff. shermo (12739)

Have you considered how much effort would have been required to demolish the buildings?

They would have to start months before the event, examined every single aspect of the design of the buildings, drawn up a detailed methodology which included hitting the buildings with planes, then they would have had to expose all structueral memebers that they planed to blow by striiping off or drilling into the concrete around the steel and placing explosives, then they would have had to go through the building with small excavators running breakers and used them to remove enough structural walls to ensure collapse as per the detonation plan and the impact from the planes.

Then they would have run a network of cables to all the devices back to a trigger, all this while people went about their day to day work and never noticed.

or perhaps they just ceased the moment and went and laid all the charges after the planes hit?

Either idea is as stupid as the other.

1145673 2010-10-19 04:13:00 Didn't they put in explosives in when they built the WTCs? SoniKalien (792)
