under device manager there are items with yellow triangle & exclamation point
- 6TO4 Adapter (listed twice)
- isatap.{E4E2294B-E301-480D-BFF6-A5BD76765514} (listed twice)
- Microsoft ISATAP Adapter #14

I tried to google these items - but didn't understand
trying to update drivers failed.

Could someone explain if I need to be concerned about these devices.
If so, what to do to have them properly installed.

many thanks

Reinstall the network adapter driver.
pctek (84)
1184085 2011-03-07 02:32:00 Double click on them then go to the details tab. Change it to hardware ids. Copy and paste that here. Or do a search in Google for whatever is there. Looks like it may belong to Broadcom 440x 10/100 Integrated Controller (The 6TO4 adapter) Speedy Gonzales (78)
1184086 2011-03-07 02:42:00 The hardware id's are:
*6to4mp
*ISATAP

1184087 2011-03-07 03:08:00 Are the NIC drivers installed? If theyre not go to the mobo / makers site. Download / install them. How did you try and update the drivers? Whats it say under the general tab? Double click on it Speedy Gonzales (78)

1184089 2011-03-07 20:18:00 It seems from the reading links PCTEK provided, once the network driver has been reinstalled any errors with these two can be ignored - although they seem to stop the computer from booting, so I have disabled these "devices" and so far the computer boots normally.
