1145112 2010-10-15 06:26:00 Well, lazy coding and no checksums led to a simple "hack" allowing iPad users to get paid apps for free

www.neowin.net

Really lazy, will be patched soon I guess but apple is so anal about this stuff its amazing it got through. apparently its adobe's viewer and their responsibility.

How long before the claims and sueing starts over damages?

And rightly so, although there still seems to be a large supply of gullible users out there

1145116 2010-10-15 06:55:00 You can lead a horse to water but you can't make it drink.

Or in modern terms,

you don't have to lead fools to an apple shop because they will buy anyway

1145117 2010-10-15 08:11:00 Sorry, I just have to say how (almost) everytime apple is brought up it leads to a debate.

we must be a bunch of bad apples

1145118 2010-10-15 19:27:00 The high-resolution, 9.7-inch LED-backlit IPS display on iPad is remarkably crisp and vivid. Which makes it perfect for web browsing, watching movies, or viewing photos. With iPad, there is no up or down. It’s designed to show off your content in portrait or landscape orientation with every turn.

Pity you can't have flash and you have to shell out more $ if you want to plug in a USB drive. I mean who would buy a computer without a USB slot? Oh wait millions of suckers have

I've yet to see anyone refute that though with fact

1145121 2010-10-16 01:05:00 HMMM, so when apple has a closed system you bag it, now its not so closed(hackable) you still bag it.
Reminds me of the windows is better because is 1000* more applications. Now that the iphone has lots of apps it still gets bagged.
Did you ever wonder the exploit might be Adobes fault?
