1144897 2010-10-15 01:46:00 Telstra's got a question a day type thing going on where you can win prizes for answering q's. Only issue is I live in Wellington and today's one is something to do with Auckland. The answer to the easy one is "born to be wild" but yeah, the harder one is

“Looking on the map of Auckland City, Bill asked: 'What’s that shape in the centre of town?' 'It’s got four corners,' said TC. 'And it’s named after the clouds"

Anyone know? Keen to help with ones in the coming days if other people are? Haven't seen many of the ads so I wing it at times :horrified

1144901 2010-10-17 22:05:00 The easy one is Mayor Island, for the harder one I want to say Papamoa as that’s near Tauranga and fits the character limit but it doesn’t really fit the question? wellyg33k (11804)
1144902 2010-10-19 02:00:00 Todays hard one is western bay, but haven't seen the ad for the easy one. Does anyone else know? Can't be that hard TickTech (15391)
1144903 2010-10-20 21:16:00 “Hey Bill, this is a great lake to go on a mixed up oar tour,” said TC. Unscramble the two mixed-up words to find out where TC and Bill are today. (7)

and

“We’re just 100kms from my favourite holiday spot,” said TC. “Am I going to have to guess again?” asked Bill. “The clue is that New Zealand’s biggest flower stems from there,” said TC. (4,5)

This lovely Wanganui attraction exhibited signs of creativity, and TC was relieved to see that there was a sergeant on the case – even if he was spelt
differently. (8,7)
