1146431 2010-10-20 07:14:00 Does Courier Post deliver to PO Box addresses?

I have a parcel coming that She Who Must Be Obeyed, occasionally, must not see until the time is ripe to reveal all.

Cheers

1146432 2010-10-20 07:17:00 Think so.

Sent something via courier (IIRC) to ubergeeks PO Box and he recieved it fine.

Not 100% though.

Best bet would be to ring them.

1146434 2010-10-20 08:18:00 It can be a bit iffy, but yes, I have received items sent via courier post, addressed to a PO Box.

Nowadays I just get everything sent to me C/O'd to work, it's the mail-hub of town, so I usually get a call, around 4pm, instead of the package sitting in a tray overnight, before being put in my box.

I guess because everyone knows everyone around here, it's not so much of a problem. Your mileage may vary though, never hurt to ring.

Or you could get it sent to a mates place, if need be.

1146435 2010-10-20 08:27:00 Yes - it's part of their competitive advantage. As far as I know no other courier company delivers to PO boxes. somebody (208)
1146436 2010-10-20 09:46:00 Yes. Parcel Post is the other option, but Courier Post definitely do. roddy_boy (4115)

1146438 2010-10-20 11:48:00 CourierPost will deliver to a post box .

But some companies refuse to send stuff via CourierPost to a Post Box citing security or the need for you to sign for it .

Visa and FlyBuys are two companies to name just a couple that insist that parcels must be delivered to your door and signed for even though the signing for option can be done at the Post Office but they just keep citing security as reasons for not doing so .
