1146389 2010-10-24 20:03:00 What about Nigella.
Quite frankly the way a lot of young females speak these days really grates with me.

You mean the upper class twits not the normal everyday English spoken by the majority

I am a lone southerner living here amongst all those northerners it seems I am surrounded by northerners, just remembered the family from Devon living in my street

Latin has more relevance than maori.

1146398 2010-10-25 03:51:00 It should be there as an option, nothing more.

And I cant see anything wrong with primary age kids being introduced to it, Though no doubt the twats who earn a living off the industry wiull continue to blow it all out of proportion.

The language wont disappear as there is a tax payer funded industry to support it, The fact is though that as soon as a language is taken over by teh academics then it has died already, It wont be adopted back into widespread use unless there are practicals reasons for the population to do so, No amount of money will change that fact, but more money will grow the industry, and that's what they really want.

Jobs, money, mana.
