| 1146657 | 2010-10-25 22:56:00 | We fitted a floor mount unit in the lounge next to the log fire at the beginning of winter.I pay about $600 a year on firewood.Use about 3-4 cords a winter. This winter I've used half that amount, because the fire is still cosier, but also had the hp running overnight and during the day,as I wanted to see how it affected the power bill.Which has gone down because we're not using the wall heaters. But the fire is a constant heat and seems warmer. |
