1185780 2011-03-16 06:12:00 What minimum specs should I look for in a netbook? QW. (15883)
1185781 2011-04-03 06:24:00 I ended up getting an Asus Eee PC 1015PN netbook.

commercial.asus.com

The Asus won out of all of the other netbooks that I looked at.

1185783 2011-04-03 06:46:00 I had looked at quite a few netbooks before going for the 1015PN. Had even looked at the Acers but was put off by the bad reviews. QW. (15883)
1185784 2011-04-03 07:45:00 What limitations? I have come across none so far
Can't change the wallpaper without a bit of fun for one. I really can't understand MS doing that as it isn't a great innovation being able to change the wallpaper.

Fun?

Download program right click choose picture, yes its annoying but that's not a limitation and there certainly are no limitations with 7 Starter. However there is with Office starter namely the big ad bar down the right 1/3 of the screen. OO fixed that

1185786 2011-04-03 07:51:00 at one point you could only run 3 programs at once on starter (i believe that is now been removed) nuff said. icow (15313)
1185787 2011-04-03 08:07:00 I didn't have the problem of 7 Starter as my netbook came with Home Premium :D pcuser42 (130)
