1146542 2010-10-27 06:45:00 Indeed - I was impressed with how well that went; I was expecting us to have to give away a lot more. With the way things worked out, I think we actually end up getting a worthwhile amount more out of it - so well done JK & co . Erayd (23)

Old age probably but no thanks to your mean-spirited wish.

1146546 2010-10-27 08:34:00 TV1s Closeup had a poll whether the government should offer more money to clinch the deal, 48% said yes and 52% said no.

Sorry, but so what? What are the demographics of the Poll? How many CTU members voted? How many actors voted? How many votes were from TV3 voters persuaded to cast their votes in a TV One poll? How many voters decided to part with their 75 cents or whatever to vote? How many voters asked their parents' permission first? These polls are a load of CRAP.

1146548 2010-10-27 08:47:00 Good to see it has been sorted out - but a shame it came to a point where the government has had to pick up the pieces after an Australian union representing a small number of NZ actors nearly put thousands of workers out of a job. somebody (208)

1146551 2010-10-27 09:09:00 I hope you all realise that employment laws could well change as a result of the discussions and that Actors are contractors rather than employees. Snorkbox (15764)
