You need to use MS Virtual PC for this, not VirtualBox

1146297 2010-10-21 19:42:00 You can download a "Live cd" of ecomm station(newer version of OS/2) this is not installable to your harddrive, but i assume like most live cds it should run fine in a virtual box,

Depending on your version of virtual box you may not be able to run OS/2, i know it ran in older versions but more modern versions it doesn't work in.

So you may be wasting your time
see here (forums.virtualbox.org) <-- not the link i wanted but it'll do.

.VHDs are just virtual hard disks, you could compare them to ISOs, only they have their own file system within them.

I know there was a tool going round that could turn a real HD into a VHD, don't think it could go the other way though.

1146300 2010-10-22 04:40:00 Hey, being a mac user do you have parallels desktop, as Parallels (actually the project before it came parallels) was originally written to host a OS/2 guest, and I believe you can run os/2 in Parallels

This may help you too, its installing ecommstation inside virtual box, it may work for os/2 as well
